Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information we collect through gemgoals.com and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and we use privacy-respecting tools throughout.
What we collect
When you purchase the product: your name, email address, and payment information. Payment information is collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy, built on Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We retain your name and email address to deliver the product, send updates, and process refund requests.
When you use the Planning Coach: the content of your coaching session, including your responses and the AI-generated output, is processed through the Anthropic API to generate real-time responses. Session content is not stored on our servers after the session ends. If you provide your email address to receive a PDF summary, we retain your email address for delivery purposes.
When you visit the site: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregate data about page views, traffic sources, and visitor behavior. This data helps us improve the site. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of this data. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors or build personal profiles.
When you email us: we retain the contents of our email correspondence for as long as it's relevant to your support request, purchase, or inquiry.
What we do not collect
We do not use retargeting pixels. We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising purposes. We do not collect data from your Claude account, your Google Workspace, or any other tool you use the product with. Once the product is installed in your environment, we have no visibility into how you use it or what data you generate with it.
How we use what we collect
Your email address: to deliver the product, send product updates, and respond to support requests. If you complete a Planning Coach session and provide your email, we may send a short follow-up sequence, no more than three emails, related to the product. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Your name: to associate your purchase with your license.
Aggregate analytics: to understand which pages on the site are visited, how visitors find us, and how we can improve the site experience.
Who we share it with
Lemon Squeezy: (payment processing) receives your payment and billing information to process your purchase. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
Resend or Postmark: (email delivery) receives your email address to deliver transactional emails, including purchase confirmation, product delivery, and the Planning Coach PDF.
Anthropic: (Planning Coach) receives the content of your coaching session to generate responses through the Claude API. See the Anthropic privacy policy. Anthropic's data retention and privacy policies govern their handling of this data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone else.
Data you generate with the product
GEMs Planning for Claude runs entirely in your own Claude account and your own Google Workspace. All plans, goals, experiments, measures, trackers, and conversations you create using the product belong to you and are stored in your own environment. We have no access to this data. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or delete it. You control it completely.
Data retention
Purchase records: retained indefinitely for license verification, refund processing, and update delivery.
Planning Coach session content: not stored after the session ends. The PDF summary is generated and delivered in real time.
Email correspondence: retained as long as relevant.
Analytics data: collected by Google Analytics per their data retention policies.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you. You can request that we delete your personal information (note: this may affect our ability to verify your license or deliver updates). You can unsubscribe from email communications at any time. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
